My name is Ádám Ficzere, and I am a 43-year-old amateur runner.

I grew up in a large family, and we lost one of our parents early on. Life was not always easy, so I can deeply relate to the situation many of the people supported by the Association are facing. I am fortunate to have a home, but sadly, through no fault of their own, many people do not have that security.

I have already completed the Ultrabalaton three times individually, and I hope this year I will succeed for the fourth time as well. What gives me extra motivation now is that I can raise donations for the From Streets to Homes Association while doing it. My minimum goal is a symbolic amount of one thousand forints per kilometre — meaning I would love to cross the finish line knowing that at least 210,000 HUF has been raised. Of course, the sky is the limit…
