We believe that safe housing is a basic condition for a life with dignity, and that in a fair and supportive society, everyone should have access to a decent home. Since our founding, we have helped more than 1,000 people find safe and dignified housing. Today, around 250 people are supported through our programs as tenants or through rent assistance. We do not receive state funding — our work relies largely on the commitment of individuals and companies, for which we are deeply grateful. There are many ways to stand with us — every contribution matters, and helps us give more people a chance at a dignified life.

Safe housing is a fundamental condition for a life with dignity. We believe that with a fair distribution of resources, a supportive society can ensure decent housing for all. To achieve this, we develop and run model programs that provide independent housing for homeless and vulnerable people. We work together with municipalities and private individuals, and operate a network of social rental housing as well as a social rental agency. Through our first program, From Shacks to Homes, we have provided housing for more than 100 people in our first 10 years.
