This volume is a sociographic work based on interviews with people experiencing homelessness.
Its primary aim is to raise awareness: many people are born into homelessness, and poverty and lack of housing are often passed down through generations.
The book presents life stories and personal narratives that reveal who is most at risk of homelessness, and what life paths can lead people to the forests surrounding the capital — where thousands sleep even on the coldest winter nights. Another important goal of the book is to reshape the meaning of the word “homeless” — to be used as an adjective, not a noun. Because people experiencing homelessness are, first and foremost, people.
